CHIMPANZEE TREKKING UGANDA SAFARI, GORILLA TOUR TO BWINDI, 7 DAYS SIX NIGHTS
Day one:
Our chimpanzee trekking uganda safari begins with meet and greet from Entebbe airport. Your Local trekking safari guide then transfers to Kampala to your hotel. The Resort is in close proximity to areas frequented by colonies of red-tailed monkeys, the day could is then spent at the hotel spa or relaxing by the swimming pool. Overnight at The Lake Victoria Serena or Central Inn for affordable accommodations.

Day Two: Travel to Kibale
After morning breakfast from the lodge. Your trekking safari departs through Mityana and Mubende. Lunch will be served in Fort portal before proceeding to the edge of Kibale Forest. This will be your base for the following day’s chimpanzee trekking adventure in the Kibale Forest. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge, Primate Lodge or Rweteera Cottages Kibale.

Day Three: Chimpanzee trekking
Morning breakfast at Chimpanzee Guest House, later, your Chimpanzee guides would brief you prior to the start of a half day Forest walk in the Forest on your Chimpanzee safari. The trekking in the forest is led by experienced guides and focuses on an area where a troop of chimpanzees will be feeding. Olive Baboons, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys and other monkeys reside in this forest. The trekking ends approximately an hour after the first sighting and from there, you will then return to base for lunch, dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge, Primate Lodge or Rweteera Cottages Kibale.

Day four: Kibale to Bwindi Gorilla trek options
After breakfast, we leave Kibale Forest and then transfer with a drive by safari of Queen Elizabeth National park. Troops of Olive baboons are meanwhile foraging by the road, trekking in numbers along the main road. You may also see Elephant and the tree climbing lions. Later, proceed through the town of Kihiihi and drive to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The Gorilla trekking briefing and registrations would be conducted the following day. Dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort.

Day five: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking in Uganda
From the nearby Impenetrable forest, the gorilla safari briefing starts after breakfast. Then would be grouped with other gorilla trekkers led by rangers and gorilla trackers. Thereafter, the gorilla trek would start through the thick and steep vegetation. The Mountain gorilla trek then ends with viewing of a family of these gentle Giants. They conduct their day by day business of grooming, feeding, playing or curiously looking at the gorilla trekking party. A bush lunch will be provided in the forest before returning to the Gorilla Resort dinner and overnight.

Day six:
After breakfast, the trekking safari ends with a transfer to Mbarara for the picnic lunches. Then a lovely all day safari through Uganda’s Central region gets to the overnight accommodation at the Lake Victoria Serena or Central Inn.

TRANSIT TIME 8 – 9 HOURS
Day seven: End of Uganda Tour
The safari finally ends with an airport transfer which takes about 45 minutes.

Gorilla trekking safaris require a basic level of fitness, however, we also offer this for the disabled persons or the elderly gorilla trekking enthusiasts. The nearby communities offer stretcher services, as well as porters at an extra fee.
