Amboseli National Park Kenya Safari – 5 Days Amboseli Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival into Kenya
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to your overnight Hotel in Nairobi by the guide who will give a briefing and finalize the Amboseli National Park Kenya Safari program and pick up time for the following day. Overnight at the Norfolk, Hilton or the Budget safari option at Park side Hotel.
Day 2: Amboseli National park Kenya Safari
After an early morning breakfast, the safari guide assists with a morning check out at the hotel. Eventually, depart out of Nairobi, onto the Namanga road, towards the border with Tanzania. This is a 150 mile drive through the grassland Savannah where wild donkeys will be seen along the way. Thereafter, transfer into the Amboseli national park arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or safari camp in the park. The evening, will be spent on the game viewing tour, as you spot Elephants dwarfed by the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro in the background, lookout for Cape buffalo along the flood plains on the Amboseli Lake before heading back to your overnight accommodations at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Tortilis Camp or at the Mobile Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Amboseli
The morning after breakfast, we will have a morning game viewing safari in search of the hunting Lions in the plains of the park. Later on, view wildlife which includes wildebeest, Zebra grazing side by side with Did-dik and Giraffe. Some large packs of the African hunting dog out run wildebeest before killing them by biting flesh off the live helpless animals.
Crocodile nest on the swampy banks of the Amboseli Lake, as they bask about in the afternoon heat. Later, we transfer to a Masai homestead and then learn about the way of life of the locals. In th elate evening, then drive to the viewing point at Observation Hill, where wildlife of the Amboseli will be seen at a vantage point from above. Meals and overnight at at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Tortilis Camp or at the Mobile Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Amboseli safari
More of the wildlife viewing in the Amboseli National park after breakfast. Later on, take to the tracks close to the Lake, where the Cheetahs hunt and teach their young hunting tactics. On the tour, you may be lucky to spot the rare Leopard in the undergrowth, or relaxing in the acacia trees after a successful hunt for Gazelle. The safari eventually ends with a return to your overnight accommodations. Night stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Tortilis Camp or at the Mobile Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Amboseli – Departure
Breakfast, at leisure or depending on your departure flight, leave the Amboseli before heading back to Nairobi. Another transfer drop off at the Jomo Kenya International Airport for your departure flight out. End of our Services.
