4 DAYS LAKE NAIVASHA SAFARI AND MAASAI MARA SAFARI
Day 1: Lake Naivasha
Morning breakfast and thereafter, out of Nairobi on the 4 days Naivasha safari with an extension into the Masai Mara. We drive north into the semi arid areas into the Crater Lakes and formations of Volcanic activity. Arrival at the Lake Naivasha country club in the early afternoon for lunch then spend the afternoon at Crescent Island. Enjoy the 15 minute boat ride to this animal sanctuary and see Herbivores like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe and Hippo. Later on, return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Lake Naivasha country club.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Kenya Safari
Following breakfast at the Naivasha country club, drive into the masai Mara Game reserve. Arrive with a mid afternoon game drive on the acacia studded plains. See Zebra, Topi, Gazelle, Elephants, Cape buffalo and cheetah. After lunch at your safari camp, have an evening game drive. Meanwhile, take tracks near the River Mara looking for the huge Nile crocodiles and the water birds. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena or Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara Safari
Morning breakfast then have the morning on a game viewing safari in the Mara. Look out for Cape buffalo, Masai Giraffe, Ostrich then thousands of the Wildebeest grazing in the park. Cheetah and Lion prides are busy on hunts. They take advantage of the shade in the high temperatures to cool off and feed on their prey. During the lunch hours, drive back at the lodge to spend time at the swimming pool and also have lunch. In the late evening when the temperatures recede, have another evening drive in the park to find Grant’s Gazelle. Also, Coke’s Hartebeest, Warthog, Impala and the rare Roan Antelope. The safari eventually ends this day through troops of baboon that line the game viewing tracks towards dusk. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena or Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Nairobi
Breakfast at the mara lodge and later depart for Nairobi. stopping along the escarpment curio shops to buy some souvenirs before heading to the City to arrive in the early afternoon.
