Adventure Safari Kenya, Amboseli/Lake Naivasha/Masai Mara 6 Days tour.
Day 1: Amboseli National park Safari
Start early from Nairobi and depart for the Amboseli National park. Driving to the arid region where the occasional gazelle, Wild ass, or donkeys roam by the roadside on the Adventure Safari Kenya tour. Towards the Tanzania border at Namanga, eventually the turn off into the Amboseli National park. Then have an afternoon game viewing safari in an open topped 4×4 safari vehicle. The evening will be spent watching the African wildlife like the Elephants, Baboons, Sykes Monkeys, Black-backed jackal, Zebras, Black Rhinoceros Thomson’s Gazelle and many others. Meals and overnight at either Lodge accommodation or Adventure Mobile Camping in Amboseli.
Day 2 ; Amboseli Kenya Safari
Following breakfast, have a morning game viewing in the Amboseli, traversing the seasonal floodplains of swamps. Meanwhile, Elephants, Hippos and Eland graze on the sprouting shrubs. You may also see plenty of wildebeest, Lion, Cheetah, Dik dik, Waterbuck, Oryx, Cape Buffalo and spotted Hyena. The Towering Mount Kilimanjaro that nourishes the Amboseli National park’s swamps and seasonal Lakes, is usually seen in the evenings and early mornings when the weather conditions are favorable. The meals, will be prepared by your safari chef, or at the lodge, if staying in Lodges.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha Safari
Morning breakfast and have an early transit game viewing safari in the Amboseli. Then drive through the Acacia Tortilis trees, filled with the browsing Zebra, and the Black rhinos, you transfer to Nairobi to have a lunch break. Later, head through the central region and drive through the Samburu area to Lake Naivasha. On arrival in the early evening, you may have an evening game drive or bird watching trip around Lake Naivasha,alternatively, you could sail to crescent Island by boat at an extra fee. Meals with the night will be at the Lake Naivasha mobile camp or Country club, depending on the level of comfort required.
Day 4: Masai Mara Tour
Breakfast at Lake Naivasha and dismantle your mobile camp. Later, drive through the Masai lands and see the local tribesmen of the area grazing their cattle. We will drive into the Mara to arrive for lunch, or with picnic lunches prepared by your cook. The evening will be spent on a game viewing safari of the Mara looking for hyena, Jackals, Mongoose, Hippo and Nile crocodile by the edge of the Mara River. Finally, transfer back to the Central area to set up the mobile camp before dinner and overnight in the Mobile tents at the Masai Mara camp site. Option to upgrade to a luxury camp or Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara with optional tribal visit
Hyenas are usually calling just before your breakfast and these are usually seen in close proximity to the hunting cheetah. Lion prides scavenge for scraps of killed wildebeest or Thomson’s Gazelle. The day’s safari introduces, wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Topi, Impala, rhino, Jackals, several birds. The majestic Kori bustard or the elegant Secretary bird hunting for snakes in the Acacia Savannah grasslands. At an extra fee, transfer to the Masai village to meet the local Masai and see their ways of life. Afterwards, enjoy some cultural entertainment and dances, you return to your overnight accommodations for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Nairobi
Breakfast in the morning, afterwards, a final drive in the park looking for Kenya’s big Five. with luck, see the elusive leopard iin the trees feeding on Gazelle. From the Mara, our adventure safari of Kenya ends in Nairobi in the early afternoon, when your safari guide transfers you from your pick up point or your overnight Hotel to mark the end of your Adventure safari Kenya tour.
