UGANDA CHIMPANZEE AND GORILLA TREK , 7 DAYS TOUR
Day One:
We start our chimpanzee and gorilla trek safari with a meet at the airport. Then later, transferred to Kampala for Overnight at Lake Victoria Serena Resort.
Meal Plan – Bed and breakfast.
TRANSIT TIME 45 minutes.
Day Two:
Breakfast and then depart through Mubende in a private 4×4 safari vehicle. Stopping over for lunch at Fort Portal, before the heading to Kibale Forest. An evening nature walk in hope of seeing the chimpanzees around the lodge, eventually dinner and overnight at the Kibale Forest Camp or Chimpanzee Guest House. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day Three: Uganda Safari to Kibale
Morning breakfast, later start a half day Forest trekking with the National park safari guides. On the chimpanzee trek, you will most likely see Red Colubus, Black and White Colubus, bird-life and plant-life. The chimpanzees are usually found withing a couple of hours and the safari meanwhile ends after an hour of viewing the chimpanzee family. After lunch at the park, we embark on another trek in the Magombe swamp which is a community conservation project. In the evening, the trek back to your safari vehicle then ends with a return to the overnight accommodations for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Four:
Morning breakfast, before embarking on a drive to the gorilla trekking sanctuary of Bwindi. We travel through the Queen Elizabeth National park then probably see wildlife along the way to the world heritage site at Buhoma. Alongside elephants, meanwhile, other big game animals likely to be seen include; Cape Buffalo,Topi and Uganda Kob. Others are Giant Forest Hog and the tree climbing Lions at Ishasha. Later on, early arrival at the gorilla trekking area for dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort Bwindi. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Five:
Gorilla Tracking in Uganda starts after breakfast. The rangers, together with the trackers, trek through the impenetrable forest to find a family of Mountain Gorillas. The Mountain gorillas are soon found and a full hour of viewing them is allowed. This is the only protected area worldwide where Chimpanzee and Gorillas families share their habitat. Have a picnic lunch in the forest before heading back to base for dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Resort Bwindi. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner..
TREKKING TIME – 01 Minute – 8 HOURS
Day Six:
Please do not be alarmed when gorilla trekking starts right in front of your Balcony. Mountain Gorillas at times make their nests in camp, therefore the gorilla trekking briefing could start right there. This would be the second day of your gorilla treks and the trekking time will vary, based on other factors. Later on, hike back to the trail head and return to base for certificates of trekking. Dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort Bwindi. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
TREKKING TIME – 01Minute – 8 HOURS
Day Seven:
After breakfast, we finally end our gorilla safari with a return trip towards Mbarara where to take a picnic lunch. Later, a full day drive through the Ankole Area with the Long horned cattle and local farmlands crowns our day with a return to Kampala for the night stay at Lake Victoria Serena Resort.
