CHIMPANZEE TREKKING UGANDA SAFARI – 3 DAY TREKKING TOUR TO KIBALE
Day one:
Begin the chimpanzee trekking Uganda safari by meeting at your overnight accommodation in Kampala or from Entebbe Airport on a morning flight. Later, drive through the outskirts of Kampala and proceed to Kibale forest national park through Mityana. The drive through the rain-forests and large tea plantations stops at Fort Portal for lunch, before heading into the Kibale Forest area for dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge.

Day Two:
Breakfast at the Lodge in Ndali and later, drive along the Crater Lakes and farmlands to the Kibale tourist center. Here, you will attend a chimpanzee briefing by the national park staff before starting the mid morning trekking safari to find the chimpanzees. The chimpanzees usually alight from their overnight nests then spend the day foraging through the treetops. As well as on the ground as they also feed on fruits. Hunt for smaller monkeys, play with each other and most of the time grooming as well as pant hooting. One hour will be allowed from the first time the chimpanzee family is encountered; up to the time the guides finally end the visit.
Later, transfer back to the starting point to have a picnic lunch. The afternoon will then be spent on the board walk in a swamp, where colonies of red tailed monkeys, red colubus and rare species of birds will be seen using binoculars. This project is an Eco tourism venture. Started by the neighboring communities who live near the Kibale forest, the proceeds from this tourism activity helps alleviate the pressure that is exerted on the diminishing forests of Africa. Later on in the evening, transfer back to your safari lodge, arriving for dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge.

Day Three:
Morning breakfast at the lodge, then transfer back to Kampala arriving by lunch time. Depending on the time of arrival, or the departure flight, your driver guide would be happy to adjust the timing and schedule. Finally, transfer to Entebbe and board your outbound flight.
