The Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is one of the Luxurious Tented Camps at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In the meantime, just a short walk to the briefing area where gorilla trekking briefing starts.

The camp is based on a small number of large East African Safari tents which are strapped on Mahogany bases within the privacy of the forest cover of Bwindi. The rooms have a private bath tub, hair dryer then WC with all amenities expected of a luxury Tented camp complimented by your private butler.

The Gorilla Forest camp main lodge building, made out of local materials and sourced local labor. These feature banana fiber and stone bases from where you have a beautiful lounge. Of course, a bush bar that offers unlimited non alcoholic and other selected drinks.

The spa that offers massages following an arduous gorilla trek, run by a lovely team of beautiful Ugandan girls and boys. They will be happy to offer relaxing sessions of stress relief in the privacy of the Lodge. Only punctuated by the birds and the occasional Mountain Gorilla family that visits the lodge from the Jungle.

In the evenings, a bonfire always keeps the happy gorilla safari guests entertained over cocktails. In addition, traditional dances provided by the local women’s groups or the Batwa tribesmen.

Chimpanzee trekking about 5 hours from Bwindi in private 4×4 vehicle through the Queen Elizabeth National park. Meanwhile, extensions to the Kazinga channel to see Hippo then wildlife at the water edge.
