Kenya Tour Safari, Lake Nakuru National Park with Masai Mara – 5 Days
Day 1: Lake Nakuru
start the Kenya Tour SafariĀ as your African Safaris representative picks up in Nairobi to Lake Nakuru. At this point, drive through the Central Kenya and proceed to the National park arriving for lunch at the Lodge. The evening Kenya Tour Safari in the park starts with a bird watching safari along the shores of Lake Nakuru, where millions of flamingos feed in the shallow lake.

The White Pelicans swim in the Lake, fishing for Tilapia, as well as other waterbirds. The evening wildlife viewing in the park centers around the euphorbia forests to see Olive Baboons and the elusive Leopard. Look out for bat eared foxes, African White rhino, Elephant and the rare Rothschild Giraffe on the Savannah plains. The Hippos may also be seen by the water edge splashing away in the salty waters. In the evening, proceed to your overnight accommodation for dinner and overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill lodge.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha Kenya Safari
Breakfast in the early morning, before a morning safari in the Lake Nakuru. Look for Lions on hunts, Cheetah, Hunting dog, Bohor reed buck white tailed and banded mongoose. Later, check out and proceed to Lake Naivasha, where you will arrive for lunch. The afternoon will be spent either on a boat ride to crescent Island or take guided walks with a safari guide on a bush walk. Meals and the night stay at Lake Naivasha country club.
Day 3: Masai Mara Safari
Breakfast at the Lodge and later, drive to the Masai Mara. This is Kenya’s number one wildlife safari park, where all the Big Five African wild animals can be found. You will be looking for large herds of Elephants, as they transit to the water points to have a drink, Cheetahs on the hunts for Impala or gazelle, the shy Rhino, which is usually secluded and grazing with its young, Cape buffalo as well as the Lions and Leopards.
On arrival at the Mara overnight accommodations, you will have lunch and an afternoon swim or siesta. Later, as the sun goes down, yo will have a sunset game drive in the park to see more of the Masai Mara wildlife, before returning for the evening entertainment at the lodge or safari camp. Dinner and overnight at the Masai Mara Lodge of your choice or safari camp.
Day 4: Maasai Mara
Morning breakfast, and begin another day of touring the game reserve. The wildebeest are crossing over from the Serengeti, in large numbers and the Lions, Hyenas and the Jackals are following closely as they are hunting these down for food. Alongside the Wildebeest, you will also see, Topi, Zebra, Grant’s Gazelle, Thomson’s Gazelle, Leopard, Masai Ostrich, the endangered Roan Antelope and Coke’s Hartebeest. Either, have a picnic lunch by the river crossing, as you enjoy the migrations, or return to the Lodge or Camp for lunch. The evening, you have another game drive before retuning for an evening drive, later have dinner and overnight at your overnight place in the Masai Mara.
Day 5: Head to Nairobi for optional extension Kenya Tours
Morning breakfast at camp, later, your safari guide will bring you back into Nairobi for a post safari overnight, or transfer to the airport for the evening departure flight home.
