Tanzania game viewing tour, 1 night/2 days Selous Game Reserve by air.

Day 1.
Morning check in at the airport in Dar es Salaam. The scheduled flight departs for the Selous and arrive in the mid morning where a game viewing safari starts in the early afternoon after lunch at the Camp. The viewing along the river Rufiji focuses mostly on the Hippos that can be seen wallowing and challenging for territory, as well as yawning in the muddy waters along the banks. The crocodiles too, can be spotted with their mouths agape as they regulate their body temperature.

Later this evening, a Tanzania game viewing tour on the open Savannah heads out in search for the unusual sightings of the African hunting dogs which can be seen in packs as they hunt for the larger antelopes. You may also encounter cape buffalo grazing through the terminalia spinosa vegetation. Look out for the graceful Sable Antelope and African elephants that roam this national park and spend the evening relaxing back at Camp at the infinity swimming pool before enjoying dinner and overnight at Selous Serena Camp.

Day 2.
Morning breakfast at the Selous camp and if time allows, have a morning walking safari close to the Camp premises with the camp wildlife naturalist. Later, proceed to the airstrip for the return flight to Dar Es Salaam.
