Rwanda gorilla safari from Kenya

Day One:             Our 2 day’s Rwanda gorilla safari starts with a mid morning departure out of Nairobi arriving at Kigali International airport. The scheduled Rwanda Air flight departs at 11:25 then arrives at 11:50 am. Your safari guide, accordingly meets on arrival and transfers through the scenic landscape of hills and lush valleys. Up the Mountain base in Musanze or Kinigi you then  have the evening acclimatizing to the altitude. Meals and overnight at the accommodations of your choice below:

Top range:          Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Mid Range:         Le Bambou Lodge.

Budget:                 Hotel Muhabura.

Day Two:            Gorilla safari at Volcanoes Rwanda

Morning breakfast at your lodge before beginning a short drive or walk to the park offices to attend a gorilla briefing. The chief warden or assigned official will go through the briefing on how to behave while in the forest. He advises on what to do, as well as what not to do. At this point, you will begin a short drive to the park boundary to begin your half day of gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes. This is the park location of the famous Dian Fossey gorillas. The gorillas are located by the team ahead and you will be given at least 60 minutes of watching and taking photos before checking out. You will then take the 2 hour drive back to Kigali with picnic lunches. Proceed to the airport for the return flight from Rwanda which then departs at 19:20pm arriving at 21:30pm.
