TANZANIA NGORONGORO TARANGIRE SAFARI 4 DAYS TOUR
Day 1:
Morning Start your trip from Arusha then drive to Tarangire National park. We arrive in the African Savannah habitat of the Tarangire national park. Thereafter, the evening Ngorongoro Tarangire safari commences in an open vehicle. Scanning the banks of the Tarangire River for the drinking wildlife. Impala graze by the hundreds, leopard sightings are unusual, but with possibilities to spot these along the safari track. This cat feeds on gazelle, Baboon or Impala high up in the acacia trees. Elephant herds, led by the elderly matriarch, move in single file lines towards the River Tarangire. Meanwhile, the photogenic Eland and Kudu crowd among the acacia shrub land. In the evening, transfer to your accommodation to arrive for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire Safari Lodge, Meal plan: Dinner.
Day 2:
Breakfast at the Lodge, then start the final safari in the Tarangire national park. This is a favorite game viewing park especially, during the migrations in Kenya, due to the higher precipitation in the months of August, to October. Most of the Zebra wildebeest, giraffe, water buck, Impala, Lesser Kudu, Rhinos and hartebeest are concentrated here for the sprouting grass that comes with the seasonal rains.Flamingos are also common place here, as well as the migrating nesting birds. You will have lunch at the lodge, before heading out towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Tanzania Safaris
After breakfast, board the 4×4 safari vehicle then descend into the Crater walls, all the way into the bottom of Ngorongoro Crater. Start the morning Ngorongoro safari, then explore the 8,000square kilometer wildlife reserve recently gazetted a world heritage site. Game viewing is across a 20km stretch of wildlife tracks, driving through the grasslands, forest and swampland on the crater floor.
The Black Rhino, is the highlight of this safari, and other animals to be seen include flamingos on Lake Magadi. Thereafter, proceed on the tracks to see reed buck, cape buffalo and Thomson’s gazelle. Lion prides that hunt close to the crater Lakes and frequently drink from these water sources. Finally, head back and spend the evening at your overnight Lodge. Afterwards, relaxing by the pool, spa or at the bar area. Overnight accommodation options: Ngorongoro Sopa or Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4:
Breakfast at leisure, then depending on the departure flight timing, head back to Arusha or to the airport at Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure. End of our services.
