The Arusha Hotel
The Arusha Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in East Africa established in the year 1894 by the first European settlers in Arusha Tanzania. The Hotel has an air of the bygone days of the early exploration and the décor, over the number of years has been maintained to give guests this feel. The property bought and renovated before opening in 1927 by Kenyon Painter began the present day Arusha Hotel. A couple of Hollywood personalities have stayed at the Hotel and the Hotel still remains popular with the upmarket African safari tours to Tanzania. Other recent guests to the Hotel during their stay in Africa, include; President Bill Clinton, Miriam Makeba, Jada and Will smith as well as Jessica Biel and Dance hall sensation Shaggy.
With a total of 86 Hotel rooms, The Arusha Hotel offers three accommodation ranges which include Suites, Executive Deluxe or Superior room categories.
A guest hotel room is equipped with a Tea/Coffee making electric unit, a mini bar, Flat Iron with an Ironing board, proper wardrobe, hair dryers, as well as a reading table and ample lighting.
The hotel rooms
