Africa Amini Maasai Lodge
The Masai Lodge Arusha is situated in the midst of the African Wilderness of the Savannah plains. Located some 45 minutes’ drive out of Arusha or the Kilimanjaro International airport. For a typical Maasai tribesmen experience, the guests are housed in private chalets in very luxurious settings featuring the Maasai Décor. Guests will be able to join the local Maasai communities and participate in the dancing, as well as attending story- telling and learning the culture from the elders.

The Maasai are predominantly nomadic and most of their livelihood is connected to the cattle, sheep and goats. Guests are welcome to participate in rearing the animals or participate in the meal preparations with guidance from the lodge interpreter. You could also tour the Maasai traditional medicine persons who, through a concoction of herbs are able to treat many medical ailments.
It is also possible to attend the different festivals which include; circumcisions, marriage or traditional dances. The lodge will be able to organize the same cultural attire for guests to blend with the local Maasai.
